turbo bandit question
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:59:56 »
I have a 100% mint black turbo bandit body and have a ?. On the door where it says bandit and has the little 9.6v turbo above it my body doesn't say 9.6vt turbo, it just says bandit. Was the 9.6v turbo a separate stick that went over top or do I have something rare? The stickers are mint as well as the body so im not sure what's up. I will post a pic when I get home.

not rare, its a newer one, there is a solid axle and a split axle, i don't remember which has what but the one model had the 9.6v the other didn't. if i'm understanding it right. but take pictures! then i'll know what you mean.

is this what your talking about

so yours looks like my red one olds? i think the strictly "bandit" came first if you notice on the box to my black one with its original box both trucks just say "bandit" because they didn't want to waste the money and update the boxes with the 9.6v turbo which they wanted to emphasize on in the later years but dont hold me to that i was just thinking that because of the box

Didn't some of the Tyco stickers differ from country to country as well?

Hey Olds since you have that extra body with no chassis you could buy that new "modernized" chassis from Gamester, kinda expensive though

Hey olds that would be cool and i would prefer that personally but if i did ever trade or sell it i wouldn't want the buyer to gripe that it wasn't the proper body to chassis,,,,, Hey CZ i just might lol,,,but its sooooo cleeeeaaaannn lol

If it doesnt say 9.6v that means it has a differential. If it has its original body anyways
