Anyone like gory video games?
« on: January 21, 2012, 17:21:32 »
Hey guys,

If there are any other folks out there that love a good gory video game, then you might be interested in a site I just launched.

If you want to check it out, go to Goretastic.com

Just figured there might be a few gamers on the site besides myself.

Let me know what you guys think if you would ;)

Thanks

Holy Moly. I watched your video from the Conan game for PS3. That only registered a 3 on the Gore-o-Meter?
I thought that would have been a five for sure.

I like the site, not a big fan of gore, but I can see the appeal. Not sure about legal stuff, are you covered by telling under 17 people to not watch?

Anyway, great site, lots of content. I hope it is well received by people who like gore.

Thanks Mac,

Yea, Conan mainly just has basic dismemberment and not much of any internal gore.  Plus, the textures are blurry as hell, lol.

As for the legal stuff, I looked into it before creating the site and believe it or not, there is actually no law against minors viewing or even purchasing Mature rated games.  In fact, it would be entirely legal for a 7 year old kid to walk into a game store and purchase an M rated game.  There are no hard set laws, just common rules varying by stores.  Even the whole ESRB rating group is just for content warning purposes and has nothing yo do with the legal system.  I just put the warning on the videos in case any unsuspecting individual stumbled upon the content unexpectedly, lol.

Glad you liked the site  ;)
