Post by: stan on January 29, 2011, 16:58:14
im looking for 2 servos hobby grade.  preferably metal gears.  can pay some cash and trade?

if you have extra's

also looking for some extra IC's  4017, 4029, 324, 386, 7805

mosfet chips, transistrs both pnp and npn.

PIC also i would love to get some PIC's  programable intergrated circuits.

and arduino microcontroller programmer.

i'm willing to do some trading with smaller stuff so shipping doesnt get racked up

mostly just want the servo's right now.  just bought some ic555 and looking to do some projects

I might as well post this.

There are several electronics suppliers online, where you can get your voltage regulators, timers, decade counters, flip flops, op amps, and Darlington arrays.  Or whatever else you may need.

yeah good stuff, not really looking to pay 35+ship for a servo.   Was thinking more along the lines as used 50% off stuff lol

Okay for 42.9% off you could get this one, with titanium gears.

What kind of servos do you need? Drive servos? Steering servos (stepper motors)?

If you need steeing servos, you will also need H-Bridges (L293D IC) to drive the motors and  a PIC to run them.

really dont matter for the servo but mainly steering servo.

instead of a pic im going to try and use a 555 and  4013 counter.  or 4029 up/down counter.

my controller board has vanished from moving.  and until we find a baby sitter and i get a job,  Im just going to have to make a test circuit.
