Pretty goods by all accounts - not exactly bandit quick but does give my jet hopper turbo a good run - does good wheelies too - much better now with the front suspension.  Considering it's size and the fact it runs just 6 double a batteries it's good - quite a bit quicker than a mini hopper which is basically the same car underneath. I am planning on selling it soon - I love projects and this one I'd now complete so I'll be looking for another!

My dad gave me a box yesterday after having a clear out where he works - He found two RC cars - One is a decent condition Taiyo Jet Hopper Turbo and the other was this super rare Tyco Outlaw!

It's not in great nick but does have the controller.  It was missing a rear shock spring and the steering was completely buggered.  One of the rear wheels is damaged and it has lost it's stickers

The biggest problem I had with my Outlaw when I was a kid was the lack of front suspension so I set about rectifying this problem with my newly aquired Outlaw.

First here are some pics of when I got it:

And now for the upgrade!!!
On the left the original suspension components on the right the new independent front end:

Finished conversion with nice new yellow shocks!

Nice new rear suspension:
