I noticed that the home page was loading quite slowly today, along with most other pages on DragonsHobbies.com that displayed the Recent Forum Posts, so I added some code to speed up page loading. Since the information for Recent Forum Posts and Forum Users Online was actually being pulled from a different server, there was a delay loading pages that requested that information. The Recent Forum Posts will now only be checked for once each hour and Forum Users Online will be rechecked once each 15 minutes and a copy of the information is saved on the server for those pages to pull locally for quicker loading.
As my daughter said when my wife asked what she was doing today, "Just typing, blah, blah." ;D
