Since the new forum has been added, images can be attached to messages here. Don't bother using the "Images" link in the top navigation menu because that seriously needs updated. To attach an image to a message in the forum click on the "Additional Options" link below the message field when writing your message. You'll be presented with more options including the option to add attachments.
