Title: Another Playstation 3 dies....WTF?

This one is going back to Amazon.  I am switching to XBOX 360.  I'm glad I got to Finish GOW III prior to it dying...actually it's not dead yet..but it's exhibiting many of the same symptoms as my older one did.

Man... that's some bad luck. Before I bought my PS3 I was talking to a guy who said that he had 4 XBox 360s that died and never had a problem with his PS3 that he had in that same about of time.

Hopefully I don't experience the "red ring of death" on the Xbox....if I do...I may just give up video gaming!

ya i had my first get the red ring of death i recomend the elite with an intercoler fan that is what i have and its been fine for 2 years now

I can bring my screwdriver set over, we can take off the cover and look and see what's going on.
However, that involves breaking the seal, if you just bought it, it should be covered under the Sony warrantee. Once we break the seal, forget about that warrantee.

I would actually love for you to bring that over on the next game day.  We can tear apart my old one and see if we can give it mouth to mouth...

No problemo, I'll bring the hack saw as well, we can cut it up into christmas cookies when we're done.
The pieces get nice and crispy in a 450 degree oven.
