So...who's watching The Walking Dead?

Oh, I missed this post originally. I love the comic book series. I just read issue 80 last night.
The TV show is pretty great. I like that they are diverging somewhat from the story in the comics. What is great about the comics is that they are not afraid to shake everything up and totally mess with the characters, and if the stories were identical, the show would lose that surprise element. The series creator has even said that the comics and the show exist in sort of parallel universes.
My one complaint: the first season was too short. I understand it is more like a continuing mini-series with higher production values and lots of special effect zombie pieces crawling towards the camera, but I'm just anxious to see more.
I hope they get to the prison soon. That's where things get really good.
