well, i don't have a regular bandit to my name. BUT i have both 4x4 bandits the 27 mhz it complete. the 49mhz doesn't have the original remote and i made two battery covers, but its still pretty.

i got a battery door identical to that if you gimme the length and wide in mms ill see if its the same size when i get all my spairs out

yes you could put the bigger tires on the back and even the front possibly, but you wouldn't be able to turn the truck and, if it hit any bump or dip the tires would rub the body.

the story of my life, how i ended up with 6-7 tycos, and a dozen more in between

well, i figure now i have the two rarest(at least i think) so i might as well hang on to them for a little bit haha maybe just collect them all....
the door is 3 and 5/16th inches long and 2 and 3/8ths inches wide. including the tabs it is 2 and 5/8ths. the tabs are around 1/4 of an inch wide.

haha, that is a rare one! it is from before they changed the stickering on the spoiler. i guess is would depend on a price-- there is no remote to it.
and the red one does pop more but, this is the only blue one in tact that i've seen. i love them both haha

-the 2wd Bandit would be neat to run w/narrow fronts on the rear, it'd increase the GP, & give it more traction w/less rotating mass, not to mention just plain ol' weighing less.

gah. i already miss the truck... when spring comes rolling around youll have to get some action shots in the dirt. let me know how it performs. not bad for a $3 auction find not to rub it in im jobless right now or i wouldnt have sold it to begin with. how do you like it? surprisingly good condition,no? it looks sick next to its brother. maybe someday ill be able to buy them both from you. hint hint im not losing your email youll get one from me in a couple years, haha. its too bad i didnt get the box with it though that wouldve been tits.

yeah stupid me i could have sold it for 400...but i didn;t(stupid me) they realy acclerate kinds slow and, i feel like the steering is never as responsive as it should be on both of them but w/e haha

just about got the red bandit cleaned up, i was amazed at what was under all that dust, in fact when i bought it on ebay, i was sure the only thing id be re using was the red body on another truck
ps ya know i was just givin ya sht over wanting stupid money right? i dont think id take less than 250 for my ebay bandit i just got

oh i found it, red baja bandit, my favorite of the 2 bajas. considering i sold mine for 200 i dont think you did to bad, one of your other tycos should have a door for the battery

you see those eliminators on ebay? the pink stickered one dont look bad, those yellow eliminators have been swapped out cause there suppose to be 49 mhz, i was gonna buy the pair ofem and make a nice one for my pink one, but its 27mhz also

that bandit will probaly side track you from those 4x4's maybee not the fast traxx tho, there hard to beat

yeah i got the 2 yellow ones, and there was a pink eliminator body on that didn't sell so ill get it when its relisted.
but i think i'll still pay attention to the 4x4's they are only 400 a piece, withremotes its extra! haha =p

theres a complete pink one listed for another day, pretty nice accorse, it the same freq as the ones you have coming, i used to have a almost new yellow one

when i bought my first 2 eliminators, there was a mint yellow one in canada that stayed on ebay for a month which i bought after buying a nice pink one for 100, sold the pink for 115 after a few months, and traded the yellow one to turbobandit on this forum for a lambo, he listed it and it sold for over 200 bucks

yeah i might just get that body and put it on instead. what is the difference between the bandit and the eliminator. is one a 370 and 380 motor?

same motors, the eliminator has a higher gear ratio. the bandit hi gear ratio is just a little bit higher than the eliminators lo gear. the eliminators just hum when in hi gear.
i havent checked yet but i think the eliminators board puts out more juice to the motor to get it going since the gears so hi, i put a eliminator rear in a bandit and it just didnt have the power of the eliminator or the bandit, i think that with the lower ratio of the bandit it doesnt need as much power to th motor for it to run fast, you will be in good position to test this since you have two eliminators.
my thinking is a bandit lower geared rear hooked to the higher power of the eliminator will make a beast of an r/c. should beable to pop wheelies on command, one of your wild things will have the same rear as bandit

i will try it i know one of the eliminators is for parts, so i'll take the back end off of the areo hopper( which is really a blaster back end) and try that.
i'm guessing that that is the difference between the hoppers and aero hoppers too?
