Title: Finally!!!!! Tires that fit the Mutator
Post by: Tyco Bandit King on February 27, 2011, 00:52:36
So I went through all my rc cars trying to find a wheel that would adapt to the mutator but they either had the wrong hex or the inside diameter of the wheel was off. So I pulled out my super rebound and started comparing tires sizes and the super rebound has a bit smaller wheels. I started to fit them on the mutator wheel and my god are they a tight fit, I used axle grease and pliers to get them on otherwise they will give you blisters trying to pull the outside of the tire over the wheel.

I have no clue how in 11 years i never thought to try the super rebound tires on the mutator but what a major difference they make. Its got over 1/4 more ground clearance and a tread pattern that is night and day over the slicks that were on there. Im just dying to take it out in the sand and mud now. I can already tell its much better on any terrain.
