Was made out of parts from my parts box. The truck and body is all radio shack (same chassis as Tamiya Quick Drive). The body is from a 4x4 hot machine, and the chassis is a 2wd. They were never used together from the factory, but they screw right together with no mods.
The motor is a 370 from a radio shack Pro-Pulse. The original pinion gear is brass and was pressed on.
The ESC is a old traxxas. The on/off switch fit right in the factory spot.
The radio is an old AM Futaba.
The servo is a vintage Futaba, probably a good 25 years old. Sorry I dont have any pics of the servo mounting, I did that about 10 years ago.
The truck was originally for 8AA, but I had to hog out the plastic to run the standard 9.6 pack.

The main spur gear is kind small/weak looking, but there is a clutch built into the diff, so the gear might stand a chance for awhile.
The pro-pulse motor with 8 cells is pretty powerful.
The truck can pull a wheelie with throttle. Now it's actually fun to drive!
