I was wondering about this also, I'm assuming its the same Fast Traxx only with a differnt paint job and modern insides. Thing is nothing can replace the old school Fast Traxx. And the remote that comes with his new Fast Traxx looks silly.

taiyo  is the japanese version of tyco i think.   but i think some one told me tyco took the ideas from taiyo.

Old tycos were made by taiyo. This because it has lights is probably a bit slower. Look on any fast traxx chasis and you will find taiyo on it somewhere.

they look to be slower from the youtube vids ive seen, i dont think the shipping cost really makes this much a candidate for fixing an original unless ya got lots money to burn

I dont want the car its self, but can u order the Tracks from Taiyo now, and will they fit the orginal is what i want to know.
