Title: Fully proportional Nikko cars
Post by: Dragon on February 26, 2009, 10:46:10
I was at Toys R Us yesterday and noticed a couple Nikko cars on the shelf that had fully proportional controls. If I remember correctly, there was a Porsche and a Ferrari and each of them sold for about $65.

Dude! I have/had a ton of the digital proportional Nikko's (Also radio shack had a lot of renamed Nikko's).
I have a few of the 7.2 buggies that are almost the same as the Tamiya Hornet, and Me and a Buddy had the Nikko vertion of the Black Foot, I have a few of the 9.6 car's too that were proportional, not bad but not nearly the power of the others that used the full size 540.
I'll have some pic's up soon of my old collection. In the middle of bringing them all back to life.

That's cool. I was not aware that Nikko had anything like that before. I guess I need to get out more.   :-[

Yep, the Nikko's from the late 80's early 90's are awsome. My Nikko 7.2 w/ 540 Buggy could hang side by side with my Hornet.

I also had 2 4wd buggies, I had a twin 540 motor one that I sold, and a single 540 motor shaft buggy that I have, but wrecked.
