Here are some pics of my grey Jet Hopper:

It looks like a new model given that the rear axle has got a differential. But it take 8 AA cells as the old model

The rear axle is a new design to me:

It has the big tyres as my Super Bandit and Super Jet Hopper but it has a completely different set of gears (you can compare the above picture with the picture below of the Super Jet Hopper rear axle):
In terms of speed, the Super Bandit and the Super Jet Hopper gear set is faster although they require longer time to get to the top speed.
Have any of you seen the rear axle as that of my grey one?? Has it got also a differential??
I would appreciate anyone able to shed any light on the matter.
thanks

Did you swap the tires with a bandit? It does'nt have the normal thiner tire up front and spikes in the back.
The axle on your grey one is what I would consider normal. It's what I've seen on most of the 9.6 stuff. It's what my Bandit has, and it has no diff.

i like it. :) im going to post a new topic for videos. i need some wheels like that in the front of my hopper.

Hi Jeff,
No I didn't swap the tires. Both the grey and yellow rear axle sets got the big tires (similar to the bandit or super bandit).
If that is the standard rear axle of the bandit then the super bandit must be faster, right?
anyone compared the two??

Where did you get the jet hopper? I believe the jet name was given to tyco cars sold in Europe.

iknow that some of the baja bandits have same axle and have diff.i have one and it has diff.if you spin one tire one way the other spins the other way.
