Title: Finding the Frequency
Post by: Atomika on November 27, 2011, 04:17:53
I've come across a few r/c over the years, (ones I picked up at a 2nd hand store) and have taken em apart to pin point the frequency only to find they have no crystal. Any one have any info on these types of r/c's & how to figure out the frequency?

Yeah the ones I've been messing with have the coils in em. A pain in the butt indeed. I'd like to keep em original and jus find the the correct frequency crystal to put in one of my hobby grade remotes. I used a Traxxas remote with a Vexxxor I picked up last winter and it worked like a champ.
