Looking for tires for my vintage Tyco ??
« on: February 03, 2009, 13:11:57 »
Hello I'm a new here and first want to say hello  :)  also I'm posting as I'm looking for tires for my Tyco that I bought new back in the late 80's as I would like to get it up and running again. the tires are shot.  Not sure what the car is but it's a buggy type with wide nobby tires in the back and smoother skinny tires in the front.  1pc body with a wing.   Can these tires be bought new ??

Thanks !

I don't think you'll find new parts for any old Tyco vehicles anymore. The best bet is to keep an eye out at second hand shops, eBay, and of course, here. Lots of people visit here that might have some parts vehicles. If you can post a photo of your vehicle we can probably tell you what kind you have so that you can search for the right parts.

I'll have to check ebay and other areas.  I would like to get this going for my nephew as I'm looking at getting the new E-Revo brushless ed. as my first Rc in many years.  I was also looking at the HPI Savage Flux ??  not sure , but again it would be cool to find tires for this :)
Thanks !

It looks like an Aero Hopper to me.
