I've spent the past hour trying to see if updating the drivers of my old video card would correct the problem that I'm having. I guess the old card is just dead. Hopefully Ken will remember to bring in the video card that he said he would give me - and hopefully it works. Even though I don't use my old computer much anymore, it sucks that it's not working.

My C++ class is done now. I'm going to take a break from school for a while since our baby is due in October and Beth wants me to be able to "enjoy the pregnancy". I do have a couple big C++ books that I plan on reading through during the time that I'm not in class. Hopefully that will keep me on the ball for when I can get into the Advanced C++ class.

With C++ in mind, I've been working on a logic game for a while as a side project. I was hoping to have it done before the end of the semester so that I could show it to my teacher and the other students, but there is a little bug to work out and I'd hate to have it going out that way. After all… it's not like it's a professional video game. There's no reason for me to release something to the public that doesn't work properly. It's not a graphical game so most people probably wouldn't enjoy it anyway.

We got a camcorder last week and this week we got some family photos taken at Wal-Mart. Now I just need a new digital camera to be a true photo phreak. ;)
