So far I’ve had a pretty good week. I’m in a pretty good mood, but I still need a vacation. Well, Squee and Fizban will be coming over tomorrow to play some games and hang out for a while, so maybe that will pick me up some more.
My new textbook for my Java Programming class is on the way. Since our instructor changed the book I was scrambling around trying to find it but unfortunately there weren’t any local bookstores that carried it so I had to order it online. This one appears to be closer to what I was expecting going into Java 2.
Our little Scooter and Sharkie are still growing (of course). Scooter isn’t scooting much anymore – she’s actually crawling most of the time now. Sharkie is still a shark at feeding time. Both of them are very happy when they see me. It’s really cute.
I talked to friend yesterday that I haven’t talked to in around 9 years. It was quite amazing that I could still recognize her voice. We talked for a little while on the phone before I had to get back to work. It’s nice to hear from old friends… not that we’re all that old.
