My computer crashed again. Now I’m getting ready to re-install my OS. Actually… I’m still trying to decide if I want to reinstall Win98SE or upgrade to WinXP. I think I might upgrade.
I recently upgraded RealPlayer to version 10 and now I’m a bit disappointed that I did. At least one of my favorite options has become Premium options on the new RealPlayer. I’ve posted a message on my forum asking for help with finding the setup file for RealPlayer 9. Actually, I think RealPlayer 8 would work too, but I can’t remember.
I’ve also gotten stumped using Forte for Java. In my Java Programming class we are now supposed to be using the Forte IDE to re-create a GUI that we did in previous chapters. I just can’t get the CardLayout to work. Everything else seems fine. I can’t even find a tutorial or anything that shows a simple CardLayout program being created with the IDE.
Today I went to my first Jewish wedding to see Rabbi Sivan and Rivkah get married. I was actually in the wedding too, which was a special event for me. I was a Chupah-Bearer and I read one of the Seven Blessings. I’m really glad that my friend Ken was kind enough to cover my shift for me tonight so that I could be involved in this wedding.
It’s unfortunate that tonight Beth is not feeling well so she left the celebration a little early. She came home and went to bed. She said she had a bit of a fever and says that I might have to help her taking care of the kids tomorrow. Normally I’d be sleeping for work, so she’s pushing me to get to bed now just incase. I was planning to get some schoolwork done, but I guess that can wait another night.
