Unfortunately due to an excessive amount of spammers I've decided to put a staging area in place. Once you've posted some in the Welcome board you'll be able to create new threads and reply to posts on the other boards. Sorry about the inconvenience.
By the way, only moderators and other new members will be seeing the Welcome area and it will be purged on occasion, so please don't write any long posts there. If me or one of the other moderators catch something worthy we'll try to move it over to the appropriate board, but don't count on us seeing it since there may be lots of garbage piled up there.
