Typhoon Fix Tip
« on: September 18, 2009, 00:36:39 »
Replacement rubber skirts for the Typhoon are almost impossible to find. For as old as they are they crack and split a lot.
A simple and cheap solution I've found is to remove the skirt, turn it inside out and coat it with black silicone. You can buy it at any auto parts store or at Wal*Mart. Once dry turn it right side out and spray it down good with Armor all or a similar rubber treatment. This will keep the outside plyable and lookin new. Hope this help ;D

I don't have a Typhoon but that sounds like an awesome tip there! Thanks for posting it!
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)
