Visual Music Composition
« on: June 23, 2017, 18:42:10 »
Today the Google Doodle was about visual music composition. I've created a couple little music pieces on it myself. Here they are for your enjoyment

This second composition is more of an enhancement of the first one.

The inspiration for Google's Doodle today is Oskar Wilhelm Fischinger - quoting Wikipedia, Oskar "was a German-American abstract animator, filmmaker, and painter, notable for creating abstract musical animation many decades before the appearance of computer graphics and music videos."

The inspiration for my musical composition was probably more recently inspired by a CD that I bought recently - NYVES - Anxiety.

FYI, the Doodle is now in the archive, but these compositions are still accessible, just not directly through those links that I gave before. If you click on one of the links above. you'll need to click on the yellow Play button in the Google graphic that is found above the article... or just use the links in today's post to jump right to them.

It's still out there... in case you want to check it out yourself. Here's another little composition I've created... an adjustment to my old one.
