New to the forum, but not new to Tyco RC.
« on: June 25, 2018, 17:58:00 »
Hello, greetings from the Bay Area.

I am new to the forum but not new to the world of Tyco RC.

I have had quite a fleet of Tyco RC vehicles back in the 90s, unfortunately I don't have any of them anymore. On the top of my head I had the following models:
1. Mutator
2. Dagger
3. Psycho
4. Recoil
5. Samurai

I also owned RC vehicles from Nikko and Radio Shack. Toy grade RC back then was good to great. Nowadays toy grade is very disappointing.

I recently purchased a new in box Fast Traxx (chartreuse yellow, 49 mhz) from ebay to relive the nostalgia.

Hi Jeremiah, welcome to the forum.
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

That's cool. I think the silver makes it look even more futuristic.
