My best friend watched it in the theatre. He says it's one of his favorites of all times. We like the same type of movies, so I'm anxious to rent it and watch it myself. Although, he did say he was going to buy it once it came out on blu-ray. Maybe he already has it, I'll have to check.

i have seen it and i liked it a lot. i went with a group of people from work most of them did not like it because the trailers are kinda missleading it is not really an action movie  so i guess some people were expecting some thing else
i likes it because i can really see some thing like that happening

I haven't seen it but have watched the trailers. It seems to be a good movie.

Most definitely! District 9 might be my favorite film from last year.
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

Don't you find it odd that these posters are making exactly 5 generic posts about movies?

Yeah, I have. Then I wrote a rather generic post in response. I decided to edit it to make it less spammy.... Of course, now we aren't even talking about the movie though.  ;)

Well, my point was that these posters are just getting creative with their spam, and I would assume you would have just deleted them instead of responding back to them as if they were actually interested in contributing to the forums.

... Also, do you think the spaceship will come back?  I'd like to see that sequel. :P

I sure hope they make a sequel. It's one I'd definitely try to catch in the theater too.
