TYCO AERO TURBO HOPPER- Special paint job looks sweet!!!! could use some new front tires. but completely functional.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tyco-Aero-Turbo-Hopper-27-Mhz-Specialized-Green-Taiyo-/200513968089?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item2eaf9057d9

starting bid: 0.99

Looks like that custom paint job didn't do so well in the vintage market.
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

-I thought this was called "street shifter", due to ability to shift gears from the radio, this'd have to be a rocket, fully punched, in 3rd (pretty sure it's got 3 gears---tho, it's been years!!!)

i just happened to see one of those tyco last week in my goodwill store  they were asking £4.50 for it but when i picked it up to be honest it looked real cheap in its construction so i just left it .its like the guys have been saying the old tyco like the fast traxx and turbo hopper were well made but the new stuff looks utter rubbish . and i very much dought would stand the test of time like the old  tyco r/c   ;)

tyco nitro dozers and super rebounds
« Reply #58 on: September 30, 2010, 15:12:21 »
I am moving to a different place, and I need to trim down my Tyco collection.  I have a 27 MHz and a 49 MHz super rebound and I have a 27 MHz and a 49 MHz nitro dozer.  I also have FIVE TMH chargers and batteries for the cars.  Pictures can be seen in my other posts.  If anyone is interested let me know. I am going to put them on EBay soon, I figured you guys should have first pick.  The only thing wrong with any of the cars, is one of the super rebounds is missing a battery cover.  The battery gets locked into place so it is not a problem, just a cosmetic thing.

Or

A trade for all of the above for a 27 Mhz and a 49 Mhz fast traxx.
