Thanks a heap for uploading these, guys.  I already posted it in mayfew's list thread, but I have been putting together a spreadsheet that's attempting to organize all the info I can find, and these posts were invaluable.  If you want to check out what I've been working on, I threw the XLSX file up on a wordpress site:

http://nixzero.wordpress.com/tyco-rc-vehicle-list/

I would appreciate any info to help fill in the gaps.  Currently, this info is scattered across dealer catalogs, press releases, manuals...  I'm just trying to get it all in one place, any input is welcome.

Hey guys!  I recently bought a Tyco R/C catalog from the U.K.!  This isn't one of the massive catalogs, more like a booklet, and it ONLY covers the R/Cs.  At first I was a lil disappointed in the lack of info, until I found the fold out chart in the back!  This is my first upload attempt, I hope it works!  If you have trouble with them, or if you can't read the chart, I also posted it on the aforementioned wordpress page.

I can't upload large files here, but one of these should work for ya:

You can get all of the raw scan images in hi-res here:

Yeah, lots of good info in this catalog.  I hope I can find more of these from different years, this chart is a perfect template for the spreadsheet I have been working on.

That's also perfect for what I had always intended on putting onto the Wiki here. Nixzero, if you actually transcribe that into a spreadsheet format, please send that to me. I'd love to put an HTML version up on the site to make it more legible and easily searchable.

By the way, I did install a Wiki application to use on this site quite a while ago, but I never finished the configuration. Again, I apologize for taking so long (over a year) to actually complete that portion of the project. I have felt stretched so thin regarding my personal time over the past year and I feel like my web projects have taken a major brunt of the repercussions.

The catalogs bring back some serious memories. I wish I still had my red and white 4wd baja truck I saw in an earlier post. That thing would tear through grass with no problem, something many newer rc vehicles have trouble doing.

I wish someone like HPI or Tamiya made a modern one with proportional steering and speed control.
