Did you do any IC's in that remote. how Are they connected?  I was thinking using an up/down counter IC hopping it would count the lights up one way then back down but i never tried.  To much work for me now days.

so heres the wee jet hopper ive built for my 8 year old daughter to run along side my grass hopper. got this car as a parts car was only after the shell for my shelfer. first up the hopper wasnt working due to battreys leaking and making a right mess of it so i striped everything out including the servo and fitted hobby grade radio gear on top of them i fitted  a square 9.6v batt pack [ 4 aa long and 2 high. but this made the car too top heavy and caused it to tip over alot. so i striped it down again a cut and trimed the inside of the chassis so i could get a 9.6v flat pack in the bottom nice and low down with the radio gear and BEC speed control on top. this set up seems to work alot better as she hasent rolled it yet.

then the body was removed a put on my shelf queen and a old body painted up to match the basher body on my 14 turn grasshopper.

sounds like a plan. don't forget to take some pics lol. was thinking a lifted bandit would look cool too. if i had a bandit shell laying around i would be tempted to fit it on a tamiya lunch box. think the Nissan body would look well smart sitting high with the balloon tyres.
