« on: February 04, 2009, 10:46:42 »
OK I'm on here because when i was younger my uncle gave me 2 RC cars i think they were tyco but not positive the body's were Chevy belairs and they came in red and black and took 7.2  batts they also had a mechanical speed control, 5 spoke rims with slicks on the back and grooved on the front, the motor was in an aluminium pod that the rear axle went through

any help would be great
thanks in advance

Hi Reaper, welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure what your question is. (Also it would be helpful for others if you had a more detailed subject line.) Are you looking for parts for these vehicles, or is this something that you had at one point and you'd like to get again?
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

I think I had what your talking about.
Did it have a internal speaker that could make engine noises?

I dont think it was Tyco, or Nikko. (not normal for Tyco to use a 7.2)

Mine was black with flames 57 Chevy, had the slicks in the back, crome wheels. I still have some of the parts for it laying around. Next time I'm digging through my stuff I'll get you some pic's or brand name.
Only
-Tyco.
-Nikko
-Tamiya.

thanks for the reply
i dont think it had a speaker in it.
this thing was older than that i think.
it ran 2 five wire servos and had a mechanical speed control all atacched to a standerd looking toy circut board.
try as i might i cant even find a pic or anything.
if you do locat it a pic might be helpful. pic of the internals would be even more.

The one I'm talking about has a pistel grip controller and the brand is Shinsei and the company logo is a dolfin. All I have left is the controller and 2 wheels.
