Tyco 49 mhz Turbo Hammer

I have a tyco 49 mhz turbo hammer but am missing the controller for it. I also have the 27 mhz truck with the 27 mhz controller. The black 49 mhz truck is in much better shape than the 27 mhz. Anyone know of a way to convert or change my 49 mhz truck to 27 mhz or vice versa?

desolder the frequency coils out of each truck and solder them into the others. or cut all the electronics out and switch them, or take the body and bumper and wheels off and put them on the other chasis's
