Transmitter compatibility

Hey everyone! I've always been able to use my Tyco transmitter's interchangeably, with a few exceptions. I was curious if anyone can verify that a Fast Traxx transmitter would also work with a Rebound. They look identical (and yes, they are the same freq.), but either my Rebound is dead or my battery is...
The Rebound has no power LED that I can see, and it's the re-released one if that makes a difference.
