Bandit Pinion Problems

Pulled out my Bandit the other day to drive it and low and behold my Pinion gear has some how stripped. All the plastic gears are fine oddly enough. Anybody have a solution of sorts for fixing this or do I jus need to wait and find a junk tyco to pull a motor from?
