JK Rubicon and its 1/10 scale clone
by Tyco Bandit King on 2012-09-22 16:22:27 UTC
I built this clone of my rubicon using the same chassis as my scx10 4runner and a pro-line rubicon body
R2 trans with dig
Vxl speed control/brushless motor
3 traxxas 2075 servos
5400mah 11.1v lipo
Traxxas rustler/stampede rear wheels
Pro-line hammer g8 compound
11.4 wheelbase
Weight balanced to climb super steep hills
Currently running single speed so I can run it hard on the hills

Here's my Jeep.
Not nearly as modified as yours. And I don't have a real one either :(
Mine is just a stock axial with a new bright body slapped on it.
I'd prefer the real look of the scale frame like yours. Nice work, again.

It's nicely detailed. Got it from goodwill for $5.99.

I'm meeting with a guy from craigslist this week. He's cleaning out a large toy collection. I'm buying 3 large newbights for 10 bucks. One jeep and two pick up trucks. The jeep isn't as nice as the one I have now. Just a 2 door black rubicon.

You weren't kidding, I did a completed search and a NIB one sold for $349 W/$29 ship. Geeze
