i see you have the ever so elusive to me black fast traxx truck!!! i missed one on ebay the other day for 75 bucks.

no lie it was a rip off though, the low gear sounds kinda stipped or slipping, as does the fast  traxx, got them from the same guy, he wasn't very accurate at discribing them, i kinda regret getting the red/orangish fast traxx, csuse there are so many better ones on ebay now than this, both have good high gears though.

wana get rid of it, swap ya a nice eliminator or even buy it from you if you decide to sell,

Can't sell it I got I for my brothers birthday present, only way it might be available is if I find and outlaw( the truck) for him the black truck traxx was his second choice. Plus I kinda like it, but I need to find more traxx for the regular fast traxx, my bro is eating through his one already. I actually have extras I order back along time ago for my super fast traxx.

heres some of what i had a few months back, actually i stil have the black bandit on the left and the baja on the right. the one on the left is my beater of the bunch. that black one in the middle was project bandit and i actually got the body with the baja bandit. the eliminators pictured are gone now too. the yellow sticker one was almost in new condition, luckily i replaced it with a pink stickered one just as nice

last picture i have at the minute is my newest bandit, this paticular bandit since it is red has been about hardest of all for me to get, i guess because everyone wanted black ones theres just not as many red ones around, although i see theres a pretty nice one on ebay now. ive also managed to get the foam for my baja bandit to stay in but no box yet, and i have another black bandit in its box that is pretty close to mint but not 100% then i have 2 other bandits besides the ones shown here that are good 8s outta 10s in the looks department and all but the bandit from the first picture still have their chrome bumpers in tact which is a feat all in itself apparently

no extra bumpers.............lol.....all the people hunting that paticular part for their bandits they would sureley be sore if they found out someone mated a good one to a fast traxx for extra protection.

i could always put the black bandit body i have on the bandit chassis i bought from pandemic which works perfectly and has the chrome bumper and send it right to ya!!!!!! downfall is the one shock mount to that bandit chassis got snapped off durring shipping so needs glued back on.........other down fall is you would hafta part ways with the........................you guessed it......black fast traxx

cancer always sux to hear but sure nice to hear someone use the words 5 years in the past-tense.......having a 4 almost 5 year old son with leukemia i know just the feeling, in fact it was him getting sick that originally got me back buying tycos, i had bought him and his brother some new r/cs which turned out to suck so i bought the first bandit and elimiators to play with the my boys while we were in patient in the hospital...........accorse i didnt know i would be buying so many after that....lol

had the mutator, didnt like it much....sure liked the tyco rebound though!!!! the newest tyco that i had that was cool was around 2000, it was a tyco 9.6v assasin. had a late 90s camaro body on like a offroad truck chassis, it would do a wheelie from take off

it was cool, aside from the wheelie it would get with in the top speed area too, it also had a steering servo like the older bandits and etc instead of the cheap electromagnetic stuff that alot of r/cs have for steeringt ow days. sucked cause when i bought it, it was about the time k-mart and wal mart was starting to carry more new bright stuff and less and less tyco stuff, and i messed it up a bit cosmeticaly and was gona return it for a new one but they were all sold out!!!!

Seems like they are just a distribution center for Taiyo toys.  Taiyo currently only produces the fast traxx and the Typhoon from the old tyco line up.

60 for the red one, but i figured with my red ftraxx car ive got plenty of spare parts. pretty sure that 4x4 you bought will have 2 motors but iam not sure, the guy that had the last one told me that his was just a tad slower taking off than his bandit was but was still pretty quick


the turbo hoppers are the same as the bandits just dif bodies, but i think the aero twin turbo hopper is the fastes but hard to come by, look at the radio shack r/cs theres several golden arrows in a lot on ebay thats still pretty low on bids like 20 bucks, i seen one on youtube i think they maybee faster than the tycos

alot of the radio shacks were just restickered versions of the nikkos, take the bodies off the radio shack cars and they say nikko on the parts, the golden arow is a 7.2v i think

Yes. The eliminator don't even close. The twin Turbo is 2wd with two motors.

had a twin turbo aero hopper, they are fast, i think there a tad faster than the twin lambo possibly because the taller tires.


iam pretty sure the bandit and regular hoppers are the same speed since they have the same electronics/motors/ just different body.


my eliminators ive had and the one i have now will spank any of my bandits top speed wise, i think the eliminator and super bandit box says 25% faster than the previous years 9.6v cars

id be up for seeing that hammer run, i havent been able to see anything on video as to how they run ive always read about them

yeah the 4x4 and schorcher pictures of mine were taken with a phone, clearly not the best, but easier to resize, since the picture need to be tiny to add to a post if you don't have photo bucket, or something else.

have you tried the boat out-riptide- if so how is it? and i really want that lambo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D  i just got a parts lobo II with another car is it woth restoring/ making hobby grade to get it running?

-Look at it this way, about your LOBO resto, if you think it'd be worth it, to put hobby electronics into a Tamiya Hornet, Mad Bull, Mad Fighter..., then, it's worth it to you, as they are very similar.  (I'm sorry to have jumped in here to reply, pardon me :))

Savedone here is the deal. I know nothing of making anything hobby grade. This is actually the first buggie I've ever seen or touched. I would have to take it somewhere to get this done. I don't even see the battery connector on the car or antenna.

Well someone needs to sell me a lambo, preferably haha. Twin turbo none of that single engine stuff.

ive seen a few of them, there not that much fun, seeing the single is pretty much the same as the twin minus 1 motor, they dont have alot of clearence so their kinda a smooth parking lot only r/c since they ride rough, as far as just cruising around the house, they dont handle like a lambo and the turning radius is lacking, excellent for shelf racing tho

Hey wats up Performer long time no talk....That is actually a new lambo that i picked up on ebay for 9.99 lol, its the twin turbo with pistol grip, it actually runs really well.  And yes the turbo thruster is by far the fastes non-hobby grade i have ever owned, and riptide boat is a great Swimming pool boat, but not good for lake.

not much, tryin to keep from getting overwhelmed with tycos, well you will probaly break cz's heart when he see's the 9.99 price tag you paid, you just ad that black bandit, didnt remeber you mentionig it when i talked to ya last time

Yeah i added the black bandit not too long ago, its not mint but its very very good condition, i also have another Red Arrow that is mint in box but not in the picture, i like collecting tyco, radio shack, and nikko stuff when i get bored...lol

So how ouch of a difference is there between the single engine and twin turbo lambo?

The single motor lambo takes off faster, but the twin motor has more top end, both are nice but most prefer the twin engine.

hmm, intersting, i wonder how much a difference there is in top speed.

  i can see you have a great collection bro and i do love the fast traxx  and the scorcher , you are very lucky as they not so abundent in the u.k at least not were i live  :(..  my only tyco model is the fast traxx but i hope to come across a scorcher and also a bandit it would also be very nice to come across a bnib super fast traxx though i know they are very rare these days , thanks my friend  ;D

Well actually scorchers are often on ebay the German, and uk, I look and watch then a scorcher just went off last night on th us eBay, and one on the German which sold for $1.58. I know a few months ago there was a nib super fast traxx for 400 but it didn't sell. I don't know how complex shipping is o the uk but maybe if I find and get another scorcher or any of the one you want I could send them. It's a possibility.

thanks bro not had to much luck with ebay as of late and my pay pall no longer works but i could get my friend to purchase these cars and give him the cash but think shipping form the usa and germany would be to much but if any come up on the u,k ebay i would be interested thanks for the heads up  ;) :D
