Dragon's Hobbies

Tuesday night, first solid week of May, so I guess that would be the 5th.

I'm game for that. I can head over after work. I get out at 5:30. I start a class at SPC on the 18th so after that my calendar will be pretty full.

Just when we thought we'd finally have time over the summer for all of us to get together...  :'(  Well, anyway, best of luck to you in college Dave. From what I heard last week, it sounds like the summer class schedule will be longer (meaning more time to complete your assignments) than the fall classes at SPC anyway.

That's pretty Ironic  >:(  Dragon is off school, I am off busy season and now DAVE is taking classes!!

When will it end!!!?!?!?!  :D

Anyway...are we on for May 5th?  What time to you think you could be at my place Dave?  Nathaniel and I can go pick up the pizza and have it ready for your arrival!

Of course, I'd have to wait until Beth got home from work, which is usually around 5:15, so it's probably best to estimate my arrival around 6PM.

I'm just taking a spanish class. Mon and Wed 6:00 til 8:40. I can be at your place prob. around 6 to around 6:30.  Leaving around 10ish. Sound OK?

That's cool. I was just going to ask what class you were taking. Beth has been thinking about taking Spanish too. I'm sure it will be quite useful in this area.

As far as doing the theme night (movie & game), I'm not sure how long Reservoir Dogs is and if we'd have much time for Cash N Guns, since it's a week night and I know Charles likes to go to bed early. 

I'm really only going to have time for the movie and that's about it. Are we all chipping in for food? Pizza?

Sounds fine with me. You guys like chicken on pizza?

Since it's not going to be a theme night, are we still planning to watch Reservoir Dogs (I can't ever spell that right the first time!) or are we going to watch something else?

Wish I could join, but Tuesday is my busy night. I get out of work around 7:30pm usually.

Chicken on pizza is ok with me. Any movie ideas? I'll come up with some suggestions.

As for chicken on pizza...have you ever had the BBQ chicken pizza from Jets?  Pretty Fab.

But my favorite pizza is from Westshore...ever had that?

I got a non-bluray suggestion. Hot Fuzz from the makers of Shaun of the Dead. Pretty funny and it's been a few years since I watched it. I also have Black Hawk Down on BR.

Two great choices! Its been a while since I've seen either one of those.

I also the BR of Shoot Em Up. F*cking AWESOME movie! Very loud though.

Are you wondering about movies that I haven't seen yet? I haven't seen the Grindhouse movies. I don't remember seeing Kill Bill yet (although I may have, I just don't remember). Out of what you've suggested so far though, Hot Fuzz would be my first choice to see again.

If I don't hear from him beforehand, I'll try to give Chris (TylerChuit) a call tomorrow to see if he plans on joining us. (I've already sent him an email, but not sure how often he checks it.)

I would LOVE to see Kill Bill Part 1 if you own it.  Dragon hasn't seen it and it's great.

We could then see Part II at your place next CMN?

I tried calling Chris but the number I have is disconnected. I got the email from Charles saying that maybe we should pick up our own food on the way in since he's on a diet and no longer wanting to eat pizza.

He must know about this...he's just avoiding us...I wonder why... ??? ???

Yep. That was good to see you guys again. I'm definitely interested in seeing Kill Bill 2 next time.

That's not going to work for me. I have class Mon and Weds so another night of not being home on a kids school night would be bad. What about a Thurs, Fri or weekend?

I'm off the 26th, so that actually can work.

Being that Dave can't make it, we are left with 2 choices.

1) Have CMN on the 26th and do a different movie other than KB 2

or

2) Reschedule for a different date.

Or we can do both!

I see that Friday's seem to be good for Mac and Chris, so rescheduling for that Friday is fine with me if it works with everyone else.

I will be camping with Hunter.  So it can't be at my place  :'(

No can do on the 29th, my son is graduating high school on that day.

Actually, 5/29 can work for me. My son is taking the alternate graduation route, in August.
Thursday the 28th, may work for me, I'll know more on Wednesday of next week.

Well... it looks like someone is going to be out no matter when we plan for something next week.

Charles is out Thursday and Friday and nothing else has been discussed so I'm going to mark this as canceled. I had discussed playing a game with Chris after the movie on Thursday, so maybe we could just extend that and have a gaming event Thursday.
