i grew up with nikkos, my friends all had tycos. one had tyco scorcer 6v, other had the harley truck even though now i know he lied about it taking 4-9.6v packs to run, one had fx-4, another had x-rc air devil, and then a whole bunch of radio shack buggies. i had nikko big bubba, a new bright jeep renegade 4x4, x-rc tirestorm x-rc pro speed stock car(range sucked big time), a sears lobo II,a nikko made sears lobo flash (which i loved even though it was my bros) and a whole bunch of others i can't remember...ther was a jrl mustang in there somewhere that went back to toys r us for stripped gears. i want to get my 3 year old one of the nikkos i had but a big bubba doesn't pop up that often, and the car that resembles the sears lobo flash is the same chassis as the flashback and the nikko raider and brat, but stadium truck body. At least if i want to get my son one i grew up with nikkos dont go for much. I don't remember having 1 tyco growing up. my mom thought the nikkos were a better value and to me they were. digital proportional control, allot of torque, good speed, and great durability. If i were to find a nikko that is the stadium truck version of the flashback i would give up my scorcher for it given it's not in bad condition. so far i think i've seen one of that same truck in someone's collection on youtube. same truck different color. I have these 2 tycos because i stumbled upon them accidently on craigslist and it was too good of a deal to pass up even though i'm not technically a tyco person.
