Nintendo Wii
« on: September 22, 2008, 14:26:30 »
The best game I've played on Nintendo Wii so far is Tanks! on Wii Play. How about you guys? The games take about 5 minutes or less, so I can play a handful in just 15 minutes. (Great for me since I haven't had much time to play games lately.) Unfortunately, that also means that there's not much pulling me in to play more.

"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

My son is awesome on Wii Sports. He pretty much kills us in Boxing. His first time playing Bowling he got 141 - 4 strikes and 1 spare with only 1 complete miss and no gutter balls! In Golf, he adjusted the position of his Mii and made some impressive shots without any suggestions from me. (Unfortunately, my shoulder is sore again from playing the Golf game. I think I'll stick to Bowling!)

On Wii Play he's also been enjoying Billiards. Right after playing Billiards yesterday he saw a Tom & Jerry cartoon where Tom was shooting pool and he thought that was awesome.
