Tower Dice
« on: November 08, 2008, 13:26:27 »
I was playing around with the Descent dice, and I had an idea for a new game.

Concept:
10 dice for each player in the player's color

- The first player starts by placing a die on the table to form a new "tower".  The number he has facing up is his "bid" for control of that tower.

- The next player may place a die on top of that tower with a higher bid number, or start a new tower.

- You get a total of 12 points to bid with.  So if you have all 12 bid points in play on towers, you can only place a new bid if someone covers one of your bids up.

- Play continues until everyone either runs out of dice or bid points.

- The players whose dice are on top of each tower claims one point for every die BELOW the top die.  So if the winning bid was the fourth die, the tower would be worth 3 points.

That's it.  I haven't got the dice to actually try this out and see if it works, so it could be a lousy game, but there you go.  It could possibly also already exist.  ;D
