In 1999 I started this conglomeration of webpages.
I have spent many MANY hours putting this
together and making adjustments so everything links together properly. If
you don't like my site, make a suggestion for the better via email or
in the forum. I have made changes before based on outside comments.
(By the way, how do you like the current layout?)
Since 1999 my website has been online in one form or another. It originally began on Geocities as Dragon's Dream and Dragon Castle. (I honestly don't remember which name I used first.) In 2002 I registered the domain name dragonshobbies.com for the official name of the site. In 2003 I decided to transfer to a new host hoping that the service will work out for me. The price was much more fitting considering that Dragon's Hobbies was not made to generate an income for me. The Store link found at the bottom of each page directs you to Funagain Games (or in some cases CafePress) from which I do get a tiny kickback, but I mainly have an affiliation with Funagain Games because I like the quality of their service and the cool games that they have available.
I've decided to include a little about myself along with some things that I like. My name is Nathaniel. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Beth, since 1995 - I was 18 then. I was born and raised in Michigan, but now I live in Florida. I enjoy playing board games, video games, watching action and suspense movies, listening to heavy metal and other hard music, and playing on my computer. I like learning about how computers work and now I am a Network Computer Operator professionally. I'm also currently studying Windows Programming (Java, C++, etc.) at St. Petersburg College. I have two beautiful kids now too so that takes up time that I would previously have spent on other things. Although I don't have much time for hobbies anymore, some of my other hobbies include radio control and model cars, paintball, collecting Conan comics, collecting dragon figures (ceramics, miniatures, toys), drawing, and constructing and upgrading my website. I'm guessing you like something there, or else you wouldn't be looking at this site. Of course I like getting gifts, so if you're trying to find something for me, check out my Amazon.com Wish List.
For those who may have been confused by references in my journal to both Christian and Jewish religions, I would like to explain that in 2002 my wife and I joined a Messianic Jewish congregation called Tel Aviv Messianic Fellowship. We have both been learning quite a bit at TAMF but we were raised in Christian churches so there are still things that cause confusion when we look back to our Hebrew roots.
