As webmaster of Dragons Hobbies, I've referred to this group by a few different names - my favorite nicknames being The Brood or Friends & Foes.

When I first invited my friends to be part of my website we were mostly playing BattleTech - back when FASA still owned the rights to the game. (You can still find out about our "Beta Campaign" by visiting the BattleTechnical section of this website.) Since then my collection of board games has grown quite a bit. The Settlers of Catan is what I consider my gateway into the games that I mostly play now. Although I wouldn't mind breaking out BattleTech once in a while, the thought of it just doesn't come up as much as it used to. Anyway, my gaming experience is much more rounded now, thanks to all my family and friends who have recently played any games with me, but especially thanks to my friends Charles and Chris.

For a short period, I had expanded into the online gaming territory with 6sided.com - Conquest, a gamebased on the Conquest of the Empire board game. During that time I first considered allowing open registration, which continues to be open today. Now members live in many areas of the US and even other parts of the world.
